Temple Beth Torah Sisterhood is a vibrant, intergenerational community of women who come together to support one another, strengthen our synagogue, and make a meaningful impact through shared values, spiritual growth, and acts of service.
Get Involved
From social gatherings to educational programs, to community involvement – we’ve got something for everyone! Would you like to host a Sisterhood gathering, volunteer your time behind the scenes, or help plan our next event? Join us!
Value of Paid Membership
By becoming a paid member or renewing your paid membership, you’re supporting Sisterhood’s mission of cultivating sisterhood, inspiring spiritual growth, and mobilizing collective action. Membership dues go directly toward purchasing gifts for our Bar/Bat Mitzvah students, and high school graduates.
Of the $54.00 annual Sisterhood membership fee, $18 is directed to Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ). By joining Sisterhood, you automatically become part of WRJ and can take part in events through the Religious Action Center (RAC) addressing key social issues, such as last year’s postcard writing campaign to expand reproductive freedom. Activities are open to all temple members. Members of TBT Sisterhood always enjoy reduced rates for events and activities scheduled throughout the year, such as:
- The Sisterhood Retreat – Enjoy a day of fun connecting with Women of Reform Judaism in activities integrating art, music, poetry and discussion. Israeli lunch is included.
- The Sisterhood Paid-Up* Member Luncheon – a special event to thank our paid members (*Dues must be paid by the day of the luncheon. Non-members can attend for a fee.)
- Our Hanukkah Book Exchange – a fun and delightful way to celebrate the holiday with fellow members.
- Sisterhood Shabbat Service
- Game Nights and other outings
- Plus, many more exciting activities and gatherings scheduled throughout the year!
